Pew Sheet - 4th October 2015

WELCOME EVERYONE TODAY AND EVERY DAY - and please come to the second meeting this afternoon at St. Nicholas, Nether Winchendon, led by Andrew Gear, the Bucks Parishes Development officer for the Diocese, where we can continue the process towards the appointment of a new incumbent to the Benefice.   37 people attended at St. Mary’s on 27^th September where the emphasis was on Worship.   Tea and excellent cake helped the deliberations.   (See diary box below for details.)

God, our judge and saviour, teach us to be open to your truth and to trust in your love, that we may live each day with confidence in the salvation which is given through Jesus Christ our Lord.   Amen

Collect for the Eighteenth Sunday after Trinity

Lord, we beseech thee, grant thy people grace to withstand the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil, and with pure hearts and minds to follow thee the only God; through Jesus Christ our Lord.   Amen.
